Current Events and Volunteer Opportunities
BCC's Pre-Med Club currently sponsors a number of events and opportunities for volunteerism;
many of these opportunities allow the Pre-Med Club member a peek into the medical world and a chance to gain knowledge, experience,
and earn service hours towards their academic transcripts. Some organizations and events we are associated with include
Habitat for Humanity, Light of the World Clinic, American Heart Association's Heart Walk, American Cancer Society's Relay
For Life, autopsy viewing with Broward County Medical Examiners, among others.
Future Missions
Our mission is to further promote the interests of our organization and our members to the community.
We strive to make a difference by educating the public and expanding our reach.
Some events and organizations we will be volunteering for and working with in the near future
are the Young Survival Coalition, a non-profit Breast Cancer Awareness organization for young women; Brandon's Foundation,
Inc., a non-profit organization for children fighting cancer; The Kimo Bear Project, Inc., a non-profit organization donating
bears to children with cancer; among others.
